Jack Knowles, founder of PositiveParcel, is sharing their story of overcoming depression and anxiety and encouraging others to seek help. In January 2022, Jack stayed at Parkland Place Rehab Centre to address their depression and anxiety.
After completing the program, Jack has been able to manage their mental health and has since started PositiveParcel, which now provides Parkland Place welcome packs. The welcome packs includes a Parkland Place notebook and pen, Mindful Cards, Herbal calming Tea, eye mask and toiletries and is designed to provide comfort and support to those who are going through the recovery process upon admission.
"I know firsthand how difficult it can be to overcome depression and anxiety," said Jack. "But I also know that it's possible to get through it with the right help and support. That's why I'm sharing my story and encouraging others to seek help. And through PositiveParcel, I'm able to give back to the community and help others who are going through the same thing I did."
Cheryl Williams registered manager of Parkland Place stated “Jack has made a fantastic recovery after staying with us. He’s been able to run a successful business and is since up for Positive Role Model and Entrepreneur of the Year awards at this years NDA awards”.
Jack hopes that by sharing their story, others will be inspired to seek help and begin their own journey to recovery.
